Personal,Social and Emotional Development
At Teddies Tots it is our aim to ensure that all children are ready for whatever life brings them and their next big step to starting school. We are passionate about supporting the children to understand and regulate their emotions. We want children to be able to make friends for life and have the confidence they need in all situations. Growing up can be challenging as the children's brains develop and grow constantly and so we take a patient and calm approach to ensure children can feel listened to, valued and that they can express themselves freely.

Oral Health
At Teddies Tots we support the children to learn about good oral health from brushing their teeth to having conversations about what might help our teeth or damage our teeth so children can be empowered to make good choices in the future.

Letters and Sounds
Linking letters and sounds is a scheme where the children have a chance to explore sounds, rhyming and initial lettters sounds.

Child initiated play (C.I.P) is where the children choose to free play within the nursery this includes both in door and outdoor play.  During this time, adult initiated activities (A.I.A) are available for the children to choose.

This is a time for children to work in small groups, mainly with their Keyworker to work on key skills like shapes, colours, numbers, sounds etc.
