Due to continued growth - Teddies Tots are now recruiting level 3 + Nursery Practitioners.  Level 2 considered also.

Our nursery has an excellent reputation and our staff turnover is minimal, with many of our practitioners still with us after 10 years.

you will be someone who demonstrates a mature attitute and who is experienced and focused on delivering excellent standards of care and early years education with a natural ability to work as part of a team.

You must have a warm, smiling face that makes every child feel special
You must be able to laugh at jokes you don't find funny or understand!
You will preferably have a little bit of quirkiness,  If a child requests that you be captain of a pirate ship!
The ability to sing a tune is not necessary, however the ability to sing out of tune in front of a crowd is essential!
You must be able to distribute warm hugs as required.
You will possess the skills required to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people.  This is of utmost            importance.
you must be comfortable going home with endless unknown substances on your uniform
 You  can drink endless cups of pretend tea 
Read a fairy story upside down with at least 4 interruptions per page by little hands
 You must be prepared to have lots of fun in the workplace. Laughter is something you can expect to engage in for              a  large part of your working day.
 Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to our many young children and their families.
